Grace alone. Faith alone. Christ alone. Scripture alone. God's glory alone.
This map features biblically faithful churches drawn from reputable sources, including The Master's University, G3 Network, I'll Be Honest, Grace Church, and others.
Please note: This is not an exhaustive list - we will continue to add to it over time. While these churches come from trusted networks, I cannot personally vouch for the theology of every congregation listed. Treat this as a helpful starting point and use your own biblical wisdom and discernment as you research any church.
Unless Yahweh builds the house, They labor in vain who build it
Psalm 127:1 LSBA biblical church is a local assembly of believers that adheres to Scripture as its ultimate authority for faith and practice. According to the apostle Paul's instruction to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:2, the primary mark of a biblical church is that it faithfully preaches the Word of God. A biblical church is characterized by sound doctrine, faithful proclamation of the gospel, proper administration of the sacraments (baptism and the Lord's Supper), and biblical church discipline to maintain its purity.
Learn what makes a church biblicalGod commands believers to gather together (Hebrews 10:24-25). You need the local church for spiritual growth, accountability, biblical teaching, and pastoral care. The church is Christ's body - just as a hand cannot function apart from the body, you cannot fulfill your God-given purpose in isolation. The New Testament contains over 50 "one another" commands that require committed church relationships. Additionally, pastors are called to watch over your soul (Hebrews 13:17), which is impossible without church membership. Biblical Christianity is fundamentally corporate, not individualistic.
Why the local church mattersA biblical church affirms male-only pastoral eldership not because women are less valuable, but because Scripture reserves the governing and authoritative teaching office of elder for qualified men (1 Timothy 2:12-14; 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:6). Men and women are equal in dignity and salvation, while serving in distinct roles according to God's design.
Why some churches have male-only eldersNo church is perfect - all are made up of sinners being sanctified. Prioritize the essential marks (faithful preaching, biblical sacraments, church discipline) over secondary preferences. If a church has the essentials but weaknesses in other areas, commit to it and use your gifts to help strengthen it from within. Be patient - transformation takes time. However, never compromise on the gospel itself or core doctrines like the Trinity and Christ's deity. Pray for wisdom (James 1:5) and seek counsel from mature believers when making this decision.
What to do if you can't find a perfect churchExpository preaching is when a pastor systematically explains Scripture by working through books of the Bible passage by passage, letting the text determine the sermon's content rather than choosing topics based on current events or preferences. It's important because it: ensures the congregation receives the full counsel of God, protects against the pastor's personal biases, keeps the gospel central, prevents cultural compromise, and demonstrates that all Scripture is valuable and authoritative. Expository preaching reflects the conviction that God's Word, not human wisdom, transforms lives.
What expository preaching is (and why it matters)First, search thoroughly - expand your radius and prioritize essential marks (faithful preaching, biblical authority, sound doctrine) over preferences like music style or building aesthetics. A longer drive to a faithful church is worth it. If you must choose between imperfect options, avoid churches that deny the gospel, promote false teaching, or celebrate unrepentant sin. If truly isolated, maintain spiritual disciplines, use sound online teaching as a supplement (not substitute), seek accountability with other believers, and pray about whether God is calling you to help plant a biblical church. Consider relocation if feasible - access to a biblical church is a legitimate factor in life decisions. Don't give up on the church; continue seeking and praying for biblical fellowship.
