Why This Exists

Finding a biblically faithful local church is one of the greatest challenges many believers face. When I first came to faith in Christ, I struggled to find a solid church and spent most of my time watching sermons online. Over the years, I've watched friends, family, and colleagues face this same difficulty, spending countless hours trying to help them find biblical churches in their area.

The New Testament is clear: believers are not meant to walk alone. We need the local church for accountability, encouragement, teaching, fellowship, and corporate worship. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us:

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:24-25

I created this resource to help believers find and connect others to biblically faithful churches where God's Word is preached, the gospel is central, and Christians can grow in grace and knowledge of Christ. We've carefully curated this list from reputable sources with the prayer that it will connect believers with local bodies where they can worship, grow, serve, and be shepherded according to Scripture.

The Power of Helping Others Find a Church

When I finally found a biblically faithful local church, it transformed our lives. Being part of a body of believers where God's Word is faithfully preached, where we're encouraged in the faith, and where we can serve alongside other Christians has been one of the greatest blessings in our walk with Christ.

But I've also witnessed the profound impact of helping others find a faithful local church.

A colleague in the US had been born again but wasn't part of a local congregation—he was primarily growing through online sermons. I emphasized the importance of the local church and helped him find some biblically faithful options nearby. After some encouragement, he finally visited. Months later, he reached out to share what God had been doing in his life. He told me about the brothers in Christ who were encouraging him, about his mother now attending with him, and how God had delivered him from crippling anxiety during a three-day fast. He said, "I feel like I may have come to my job to connect with you, and then you connected me to the church, and that has been an enormous blessing in my life. God gets the glory."

Similarly, I helped a friend in Australia find a faithful Baptist church in Sydney. Over the past year, I've witnessed God's transforming work in his life—he's been baptized, married, and is now actively serving in his local body.

These experiences have shown me the eternal impact that can come from simply helping someone find a biblically faithful church. It's one of the most significant ways we can love and serve our brothers and sisters in Christ.

How to Use This Tool

This resource is designed for:

Taking that first step into a new church can feel intimidating, especially for new believers. As believers, we should be faithful in encouraging one another, removing friction where we can, and lovingly holding each other accountable. Sometimes that means doing the research, sending the link, and following up with, "Have you had a chance to visit yet?"

A Word of Encouragement

If you're searching for a church, don't give up. Pray that God would lead you to believers where His Word is treasured and Christ is exalted. Use this resource as a starting point, visit churches, and seek the Lord's guidance. The local church is God's design for your spiritual growth and His glory.

If you're helping someone else find a church, thank you. Your faithfulness in encouraging others toward the local church is an act of love that can bear eternal fruit.
